Can I get your John Hancock?

I just sat through a 2o minute meeting about how to sign documents. It seems so easy, but apparently there is a correct and incorrect way of doing things.
  • One can never sign after their superior
  • The highest ranking company official must sign the document last
  • If you don't want to sign, just make your superior sign in your place
  • And, if the correct person is not available, one superior or two inferior employees can sign in their behalf. The best part, the original person who was supposed to sign still takes all the responsibility.

What I learned, never sign anything and avoid all liability!

Next week's training: How to pass the buck.
